Mechanism of action

Optical bleaches OB1 belong to the family of luminescent substances, they absorb ultraviolet light waves and emit blue light. By being luminous, they make the product more vibrant and bright. Also, by emitting a positive light area, they help the reflected rays from the product to the human eye to cover the orange-red area, so the product looks whiter.

Application

Use for plastic: Most plastics, such as: PE, PP, ABS, PET, PC, etc.

Usage rate: 4 – 200 ppm (ie 4 grams to 200 grams per ton of product)

Blowing PE and PP foam bags, spinning woven bags, laminating PP films, extruding bottles, etc., EVA soles for sports shoes, textile fibers.
